I just talked to Jim…he said that he did catch 11 pounder in practice and the fish were setting up on beds. Clouds are expected to move in for the tournament, so that may be a factor. Jim has some good starting spots and hopes to catch 25lbs a day. He had to get going because it was media day, but it was good to hear from him. He sounded pretty pumped…but then again, who wouldn’t be? 
He also mentioned that he’s been talking with “Ike” about marketing/advertising in the fishing business and he’s learning a lot from him. Wingdam actually had the opportunity to talk to Ike because Jim handed the phone to him…what a cool guy!
So is Jim “ON FISH”? Well, he never officially said that nor do I expect him to, but I have confidence in his ability and wish him the best of luck! I’ll be bringing my laptop with me for sure this weekend and keep updated on Jim’s progress. Just thought I’d keep everyone posted!
