After being so close to winning the championship on both the Tours (FLW and B.A.S.S.). My vote goes to Swindle.
Who do you think has what it takes to win.

    Jim Johnson! Sheesh, c’mon guys!

My pick for second would be David Walker.

I also have a good feel about Preston Clark. Basically a Scroggins with out all the pressure. After a good finish the first day of the last classic, I think Clark has good confidence going in.

Anyone else do the FantasyBass thing at ESPN.com? If so, who’s your team?

My vote is for “the Hack attack” Greg Hackney. I saw him work a stretch flippin all day last year to win angler of the year in the FLW, the man has patience. If the spawn is on and sight fishing happens I cannot wait to see the weights these guys pull in. OUT…Troy A. Loeckle

KVD would be sweet to see 4 on a row but i dont think he can pull it off, cause he doesnt do good at this lake. my gut felling is G-man, but i agree with J, AaronMartens needs to win one!

I would like to see swindle win it. Surprised nobody has mentioned Scroggins yet?? If a cold front comes through he may be the man to beat.

    1. Terry Scroggins-he’s the man to beat, has the best record on Toho

    2. KVD- Who cares about prior record on this lake with him? he’s hot anywhere.

    3. Greg Hackney- as mentioned early, if this is going to be a flippin’ bite, he could finish high.

    4. Aaron Martens- patient with plastics could pay off big

    5. Larry Nixon-my dark horse pick. I think he’s going to go out there knowing it’s his last classic and have fun, shouldn’t have to worry a ton about fan boats right away, i think his strength with plastics could pay off.

    Right on Fluker!!

Now, if only Jimmy can find that 11 pounder he caught in practice this week!

(Yes, he in fact caught an 11 pounder… simply awesome!)

Heard Jim himself say it on 580 am outdoors show last night.

Couple 11 pounders would sure make the bag feel nice!!

Im rooting for Ike he’s the man, I also want Jim Johnson to do well, but my overall pick for the winner would have to be KVD, he’s so good it sickens me. Should be an exciting classic, im pumped!

My Pick would be Terry Scoggins but I would love to see Larry Nixon win it also.It probably won’t be won sight fishin so Larry has a good shot. I think it would be cool for someone old school to pull it out.
