    Man… any thoughts on this bad boy? Seems like a screamer… Sure wish money grew on trees…

    Sure, lotsa thoughts. Merc and the other 4 strokes are being seriously threatened by the Evinrude E-Tec. The latter is more fuel efficient, lighter, less polluting, requires less maintenance, has far more parts and is faster. For about the same price.

    So why buy a four stroke???

    The 300 XS would get better mileage than a 150 without DFI

    dont think theres a lot of demand for an engine like this for fishin’ 1.) $$$ 2.) boat rating etc. -Prety cool though! -Cory
