I talked to the tournament director on thursday and there were 176 BOATERS signed up already for the LAX Stren Event. If you haven’t signed up, I strongly encourage you to do so.

There are more Co-Angler spots open, but I’m sure those will fill up fast as well.

    Just a heads up.

Slop, when is the event? This is a whole different thing than the lacrosse BFL right? How much is co-angler entry fee? Just wondering. If anything i wouldn’t mind attending the weigh in. Send me a PM if you need to.
    Thanks

This is July 12-15th. This is a step up from the BFL. Co-Angler fee is $300. Pro is $750.

You’ll enjoy the weigh-in for sure. The first two days are at Clinton St. Landing, then the top 10 get trailored out to Wal-mart for the finals..

The Stren Series is the Everstart Series, it was re-named this year. Alex I see you r from PDC, my family has a cabin in PDC and I fish there every weekend. What kind of boat you run, I am sure we have probally seen each other.

If a guy applies online how long will it take before he knows if he is in the field or not?

I registered for the Ft. Madison Stren Series the first week of January and just got my confirmation last week.

Ok, just got off the phone w/FLW. Here is the scoop.
    As of 2 minutes ago.

180 Boaters signed up. (paid in full or deposit)

    110 Co-Anglers signed up. (“”)

All that we need is for co-anglers to sign up, and there typically isn’t a shortage of co-anglers…

“Technically”…if you aren’t one of the first 110 Boaters to match up w/the 110 co-anglers….you are considered on the “waiting list”.

So Myself included, are all just waiting for the co-anglers to sign up and fill the field.

If someone wants to sponsor me for 3 bills, I’d be glad to fish from the back of a boat!

Wait, better make it 5 bills……… I’ll need gas money and a place to stay!

I think that no matter what any boater who wants in will get in. The last two I fished I put in a deposit to get on the waiting list a month or two before and was the 70th guy on the waiting list and got in both times. Co-anglers is usually pretty hard to get in as though. So if you wanna boat, I wouldn’t worry.

I might be wrong Eric, but I don’t think you can lock in with a co-angler in th eStren series – I signed up for the Stren and there was no box for a guaranteed boater like there is in the BFL.
