Was wondering if anyone knows anything about Bass world Sport Tournies. I am thinking about joining the circuit this year and was wondering what kind of show they run? Any information on this would be appreciated.

Last year my partner and I fished the Bass World Sports tournies out of Lansing. We only did one, because of motor problems for most of the summer. Bob and Ryan Horrell run a quality tournament with a low entry fee. This is a great circuit for you and your buddy to fish. You get to fish and hopefully when some money, but you also get to meet a lot of great people at the weigh ins.
This year Bass World Sports has a division out of Lansing and one out of LaCrosse.
As the tournaments come closer, I will be posting the details and when they are over, I will post the results as well.
    See ya on the water.

I’ve helped Bass World with their weigh-in’s since they started their circuit up here three years ago. Low entry and pretty good payout. They were averaging around 25-30 teams per tournament out of Lansing this past year and paid over $1,000 to the winners. Bassboy’s correct that they will also be expanding to run a circuit out of LaCrosse as well this season. I also fished in their national championship in 2001 and it was a really well run tournament down in Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas. This past year they went to Kentucky Lake and I wasn’t able to make it. You fish for a new Ranger in the championship and they also give away a draw boat and many other prizes.
