I have been messing around with swim baits this fall and good results on lakes, but did not make it to the river.
This tech. work very well for me on a shallow stained lake in the Alex. area.
Check out http://www.swimbaitnation.com and be sure to check out the media area, it is sweet.
Has anyone use this tech. on the river yet?

Swimbaits sure put the monsters in the boat!
When I lived in SoCal I caught many largemouth bass from 8-12 pounds using large 8-12 inch rainbow trout imitations.
All I’ve caught since moving to WI on swimbaits are northerns and my biggest to date 3lb. smallie just below Alma lock on the sippi.

I didn’t get to catch basscenter, but a freind of mine that was with me when I was on a great swimbait bite in late fall, called me and said he was watching Kelly Jordan fishing swimbaits on sun.

Kelly Jordan was throwing swimbaits on Classic Patterns. It was a very good show.
