So Today I went to the flw website today to register for the BFL tourney taking place may 20th. And I’ve been drooling over being a boater in the spring bfl for the last year becuase spring is my strongest time of year. It turns out that my sisters wedding is also on the 20th. What would you guys do? Also I am supposed to be an usher in her wedding.

Go fishing, she’ll probably get married at leats 2 or 3 times in her life…She’s bound to pick a weekend that fits your schedule.

BWT, I’m kidding. I do not envy your choice Kevin.

    And from this corner!

I missed my brother in laws wedding…swore I would never miss a family event again…Everything else can be done again or at a later date…even if it’s next year.

So…tell’em to change the date…but don’t miss thier (hopefully) once in a lifetime event.

You go to the wedding. That’s an event she has waited her whole lifetime for, and there’s a tournament every weekend.

Speaking from experience, you don’t want to miss it. My cousin did this and it just wont go away. Either way tough choice, personally, I would go with family. It lasts longer and will have a better chance of supporting you in the future.

Not Going to the wedding is equal to buying yourself a one way ticket on a non-stop bus to SCREWED-CITY.

but seriously, I will have to go to the wedding. It really means a lot to her. But this is the only one. If she ever tries to get married again then she can find a new usher . You guys are right though, there are plenty of tourneys all summer to be in. I just get excited becuase spring brings me some fortunate oppurtunities. whereas I still need to learn summer bass better.

Personally I would start a rift between her and her boyfriend that would put it off until fall – if you need some good material, let me know.

I’m just messin’ with ya n-boy. While I don’t consider you competition,(I compete against the fish-not fisherman) I do encourage the wedding. Unless it is after 4p.m…then you could/should do both.

Did you buy a bass boat?

So with fishing and hunting the best time would be end of January and February!

Unless you ice fish then you might want to put it off until Neverary.

I know it’s not personal just getting the mess off of me. the wedding is early and as far as a boat goes… I’m in the market but if I can’t find a good deal I’ve got my fathers champion I can use.

I will keep that month in mind….Neverary….sounds good to me.

I hear ya Natureboy….my sister got married last spring and it happened to fall on the first FLW walleye league event.

Getting married is a once in a life time thing(I hope ) so you can’t miss it.

There will be tournaments next year too.

From a tournament perspective… The problem with this statement is that most of the competitors this time of year in LAX are going to be on big fish too.

The wedding should be a once-in-a-lifetime deal. Don’t want to miss that…
