Boat Question

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am looking at a 99 Champion 181 with a 150 Merc EFI, with a Hydrolic jackplate. I was wondering if anyone could give me a reasonable estimate at a top end speed under normal load? I know there are a lot of factors involved with boat speed and know that the actual can vary under different conditions, but I am just looking for a ballpark figure. Thanks

If set up right and the motor is still strong you should get 63 – 64 mph out of that rig.

Thanks for all of your input. I was thinking around 60 myself, but was looking for some other thoughts. I know Champions are a little heavier, or at least that has been what most people have told me. Thanks again.

Ok,I’ll check it against someone else next year.I’ll just say I’ve been really happy with the motor and if he buys it.I hope he is too.
