I got out Saturday for a few hrs and it was a great day.
I tried the frog for awhile with no luck. Did alittle crankin and top water with no luck. I picked up some swim jigs at Ace Friday night so i moved to some wood and figured i would work this area over with a Black an Blue jig. It didnt take long before my line felt alittle spongy and i set the hook on a nice little chunk. I spent the rest of the day fishing blow downs with steady action. The bite was very light. For the most part it was just a heavy feeling. Had some wind so it was hard to watch the line which is what i like to do when the bite is light.It was a good thing i stopped and picked up a few more jigs. The toothy critters like them jigs as well as the Bass do
