    Fishing was tough,we took 10th…13 fish 23.255lbs(something like that),…2 ounces out of the money
    I think this was the first year they didn’t pay down to 10th…
    Late Sunday we found some largemouth out on the lake stacked up but it was one of those too little too late deals.

    Did you guys participate in the Fish Mortatality Study? If i’m not mistaken, the 4-man was listed as a test tourney….Any insight to that at all?

    Yes we did. DNR was there with questionaires and they had fish holding pens set up in the river somewhere. It was a LM only culling tourney and I think thats all they put in the test pens. My only thought on why it was LM only because the SM population is a lot smaller but thats just speculation, they never really gave a reason. I don’t think a lot of culling was going on so that part of the study may be a wash just like it was on Wissota. Since the water temps were in the lower 60’s in the river and there is no LM bass virus in that system I’m sure the mortality rates will be substantially lower.
