    I have tried many different types but always go back to the rattle trap. It can be fished fast or slow and seems to not snag up. Shad or baby bass are hot now!!
    Whats yours and why.

    I have to agree on the trap but this year alot of smallmouths I caught fell to the small size huskyjerk.

    It’s still the fatrap,,,, The bandit though lately has been getting my attention. I’ve got boxes full of cranks, but you asked for my favorite! {John}

    Rattle trap and the bandit are what I use.

    The waters I fish are flush with crayfish. Haven’t killed a bass for the past several years, but the ones I did in years past ALL had crayfish in them. So I’ve gone to crayfish patterns in the Rapala Rattlin’ Raps (discontinued), medium sized Husky Jerks (gold/orange) and any lipped crank in crayfish colors that gets me down where I need to go. Lots of walleyes fall to the Husky Jerk and Rattlin’ Raps, too. So no single favorate crank, but those three are the biggies for me.

    Pointer 100 (better action and balance than a Husky Jerk)
    -4 , long , and fat A’s
    This will fill your livewell qiute often…
    All in all I would rather use a Jig!!!

    Mann’s Baby 1 minus for shallow, Bandit or Bomber in crawfish or Brown and Chartruese for deeper water.
