I only have a few weeks left with my son before he goes back to Colo so we hit the river again today. We fish the main channel today and found any rip rap tha had blow downs on it held fish. Was another great day with my son

Nice fish Dan. Sunday was a gorgeous day to be outside. I wish I had spent my day on the water instead of behind the push mower.

It was nice out Sunday. We put in at 7th st and headed south. Not real sure how many fish we caught but it was a good day. Alittle past noon the bite slowed and the traffic on the main channel got heavy so we called it a day. Im gonna hit the same area tomorrow afternoon and fish some new water. It’s not as bad on the main channel during the week

Dan, i will be out on the water tomorrow too and i was wondering what you have been catching these fish on and what your technique was..I have seen a couple of your reports about rip rap, and since i will be heading right past that area in my boat, i might have to give it a shot…If you see me in my little white and blue starcraft, say hi!

I got everything on creature baits and my son caught his on tubes. All were fished slow. Let the bait drop to the bottom then pump it a time or two. Work the rocks real slow and that would get the smallies moving on the bait. Have fun bud
