Was out on pool 8 last night to see how the drop in temp was going to affect some of my spots on the river. I was fishing in about three feet of water when I had the mother of all strikes. I ended up fighting the fish for about twenty minutes until I got the fish up to the side of my boat. To my surprise and that of the person in the back of my boat, I had a huge cat. After pictures and all it went 43 inches long and 47 pounds 10 oz. I will try to get pics on the web asap 
Just makes you8 remember that we fish a great body of water and you never know what you will tie into in the fall.
