Just want to give you guys a heads up…

My buddy went up to LAX on Friday to pick up a few much needed swim jigs for Saturday’s BFL and found that Bob’s stock was virually depleted! I just received another e-mail today saying that it is VERY tough to get jigs (the right colors) anywhere in LAX.

Any of you out there interested in making sure you have enough to get you through this tournament please get a hold of Dan Brovarney or myself and we’ll do our best at making sure you’ll be prepared.

Casey (Brovarney President), Dan B.(THE MAN), and myself will all be at the Everstart and can set up hand delivery if needed.

    Don’t say I didn’t warn you…

You’re right d-nort…the swim jig supply in La Crosse is very minimal because of tourney anglers buying them in bulk. Brovarney’s jigs are definitely the way to go…you can’t get that kind of quality just anywhere! I can help out also if needed.

scottie at bob’s WILL have some stock out for the everstart- there is such a backlog of pros ordering them that it’s just to much to handle. He is also working his tail off to keep the supply on the shelf. I was just there last night and he was packaging up some of the “right” colors . Also, if someone needs a certain color- come see me as i’ll have a good stock going on in my boat.

The only thing that is for sure is that the swim jig bite is no longer hush hush

My guess is the folks at both Lethal weopon and Brovarney Baits will be burning a little bit more of the midnight oil this winter so that they can spend a little less time working next summer.

But it sure is nice to be wanted isn’t it Champman

The Bovarney and Lethal Weapon Jigs are both fine jigs.

As for supplies, yup, Jim you’re right (as ususal!) I was just at Scotty’s this AM, and he said that he’d have over 800 on the shelves before Friday – I saw the stockpile getting packaged up in the back room. The Lethal Weapons will be ready.

So Jimmy how much will the ones out of your boat cost a flatlander that has already donated his money for the Everstart?

I’ll be up Friday night. I’ve already paid my entry fee, So I figured I would come up there and take my beating like a good little FIB.

Scooter – I once was a FIB, ten years ago… some argue I will always be, but all I can say is that we (Cheesheads) love taking your revenues!

I just wanted to point out that you are more likely a FISHTAB… You know the “FI” Guess the “S” and then add Head Towing A Boat….

Isn’t it the one that catches fish?

Seriously, JL guys and I have been having luck on DARK (Blacks, Blues, Purples, Greens) colors swum fast, or BRIGHT (White, Yellow, Orange, Firetiger) colors swum very slowly near the surface. Not too detailed, but I am sure this might steer you in the right direction…
