SuperBowl time again! Anyone have any predictions of who will win the Classic this year? Prefishing reports sound like it’s going to be a tough one. Lots of fish caught, if 11-inchers count. Ike’s on a roll and is confident in that area. KVD can never be counted out based on his confidence and extraordinary knowledge of the sport. Let’s hear what you guys think.

I think Van Dam is on a roll, and can cover water better than anyone.

I think from Wissota, I would say KVD is steady in
tough conditions, and Mike Ike can pile them into
the livewell when he gets on a roll, in tough conditions.
So I would have to go with a coin toss between KVD,
and Mike Ike. If Mike gets into a zone, and builds up
a good weight, and Steady KVD can’t catch him,
then Mike Ike wins. If KVD doesn’t fall off the pace,
his consistency will carry him through.

I’m thinking it will be someone unpredictable, as it usually is. While I can come up with no tangible reason to pick him, I’m taking Edwin Evers or Chad Morgenthaler.

Easy to go with KVD or Ike but Ill take AOY Aaron Martens- tough, clear water, small fish – he always seems to get a limit which might be what it takes.

I think Bass Baron is right Aaron has been right there for the past 2 classics and with the AOY under his belt it could be his year.

I think it will be a battle between KVD and IKE

Just had to bring this back to the front. Any more predictions?Just about time for the jawin to stop and the fishin to start. With a fishery like this the field is wide open.

I’ll take a long shot and go with the Fed Champion, Ed Cowan. He fishes well enough to have qualified twice I believe and this is basically his home water.

Don’t really care just hope Im-a-assanelli gets smacked down. LOL

    Day 1 Arrons in second

6 lb is leading it. interesting thing is that a couple of guys with only three fish are up there with the guys with five.

Gosh do I love events like this where they really have to work their butts off just to catch five “just legals”
