Late Fall Smallies

    Just wondering if I could get a little help on where to find some “wild & wonderful” late fall smallmouth fishing in the La Crosse area ?? I’ll be up for a week and would like to tie into some quality fish !

    I have found them to really stack up on fronts and tops of wingdams in the fall. Last year I remember one day throwing plastic I had 7 or 8 on consecutive casts and they were all 15″ or better. In the fall the flows tend to really drop down and the smallies like to bunch up on wingdams. Rocky shoreline areas off the main channel should be good also. Be sure and let us know how you do when you go out.
