Fished Pool 10 today. Started out using spinnerbaits and buzz baits with limited success around weeds. The fish I caught seemed to like the lily pads. Switched to a white Moss Mouse and proceeded to put alot of fish into the boat. The fish this day seemed to be in the pads but they didn’t like the areas where the heavy slop was mixed in. Usually I get alot of blows through this slop but today I didn’t get a blow all day through it. If you threw 10 feet off to the side in more open pads you would get bit. It seemed areas with current mixed with pads produced better than calm water. Later tried flipping current and wood without much success.

I was out sat and this am- Sat was awesome- 18″ smallie, 12 keeper lm, and about 35 total with a few northern and a bonus walleye. The water came up sat pm and slow fishing today. Most fish in cover (weed, wood, rock) in slight or near current. Most fish on spinner bait and scum frog, a few on cranks and worms as well. My experience echoed that of the post from today. Lots of boats out this weekend- was there a tourney?

Yeh there was a tournament, it was Anglers Edge bass club. It took about 13 lb. to win and big bass was 3.6. The rising water did shut those fish off pretty quick.
