here’s a new one (at least as far as I know) – today on pool 5 I caught two (both whites) on one cast on a spinnerbait(with trailer hook) of all lures. I once caught 2 lm on a chug bug, and and a few times I’ve hooked 2 smallmouth on suspending jerkbaits (I don’t beleve I ever landed both though), and a couple weeks ago caught a 32″ musky on a deep wee R “tipped” with a 10″ smallmouth. But I’ve never heard of anyone cathcing 2 on a spinnerbait before, anyone else done it?

    Hey Superfluke!
I’ve had almost the same thing happen to some guys I was guiding a couple weeks ago. They were throwin Heddon Torpedos for smallies when one of the guys hooked one. While he was reelin it up to the boat his buddy said hes got a smallie an a striper hooked. I didnt belive it at first cause sometimes it does look you have two hooked. Because when your fishing in a school of feeding fish and you hook one it starts splashing and the other fish think its feeding so they follow it up. But the guy really did have a striper an smallie hooked at the same time.
