    Hi all,
just got back from a much needed trip to Sturgeon Bay. I’ve been working WAY too much lately and I finally got some time off and made the most of it!! Sight fishing for big smallies… it just doesn’t get any better!! I also saw what I thought was a familiar face in a familiar Blazer. D-Nort perhaps? I was going to come over and say hi but then I thought about how stupid I’d have felt if it wasn’t you

P.S. I am trying to post pics from the trip but I have no idea how to resize them so they will be under the 100000 byte limit!!! Can someone PM me with how to go about this?!?

That was me! I was there Thursday and Friday just fun fishing with an old buddy. I love hammering those toads. We averaged 40-60 smallies a day.

What kind of boat were you in?

Nope, but that’s pretty close to where I was!! I agree, the fishing was AWESOME!! Plus, it’s tough to beat an average size of 3 to 3.5 lbs!!

Thanks for calling me D-Nort …looks like you had fun!

P.S. – I almost didn’t recognize you without the visor!

Thanks for posting those MB!! You can see that D-Nort must have better eyes than me as he was able to catch the light colored fish.. all I could see were the dark ones!! It may have something to do with the fact that most of our fish came out of 2 feet of water.
