Any opinions on prescription fishing sun glasses .

Right now I’m wearing solor bats over my regular glasses and it isn’t the most comfortable arrangement.

Any help would be appreciated and feel free to come up with creative wise cracks about the old visually impaired statement.

Hey Dan, next thing you know it will be your ears!!

Three retirees, each with a hearing loss, were taking a walk one fine March day.

One remarked to the other, “Windy, ain’t it?”

“No,” the second man replied, “It’s Thursday.”

And the third man chimed in, “So am I. Let’s have a coke.”

It’s all out of love Dan!!!

What do you mean the next thing it will be my ears? They went years ago.

I’ll just be happy if all the issues stay north of my navel

Dave you of all people understand that

Most companies have specific models where they can put your RX into their polarized glasses….I just got mine done by Oakley. It is extremely expensive (300-500) but in my opinion well worth it.

You should be able to get a pair of polarized clip-ons for $40 to $50 bucks and the work great. I picked up a custom pair for $40 in Florida this spring for snook fishing.

Dan I did the prescription sun glasses from Walmart – takes a week to get, costs 89.99 and crystal clear – I am near sighted and it was a definate upgrade from my clip ons.

If you want to put them over your current glasses i know that Iaconelli endorses some -cant recall the name at this moment though – maybe its mid 30s dementia setting in.

I never liked clip-ons. I’m all for polarized perscription glasses.

The ones Ike endorses are called Fitovers.

I heard that if you use anything that Iaconelli endorses that you scream like you stepped on a hook every time you catch a fish.

Cocoons sunwear, makes a fine pair of slip over fishing sunglasses.

I got prescription sunglasses as part of a deal when i got new “regular” glasses. They were an extra $100 bucks or so. I hate wearing clip ons. The biggest problem was arguing with the woman at the eyeglass shop. She was going to set up the unglasses without bifocals in them. I asked her if she ever tried to tie an improved clinch knot with 4 lb test line, without bifocals! The only problem with these glasses is that they aren’t polarized. I really don’t miss that feature all that much.

    OK

I figured out that the buy glasses, get a free pair of SUN glasses -Sun glasses that I got are in fact polorized

    So now I am set.

Hint…..If you are wondering how to tell if a pair of glasses is polorized here’s how…..Take a pair of glasses that you know are polorized and put them on. Take the glasses that you don’t know are polorized and turn them 90 degees to the ones you are wearing and look through both of them. If you see almost nothing they are both polorized. ((Mrs Louch if your out there I remember something from sience class)
