I was looking at the site today and noticed that 2 of the divisions have $160.00 entry fee and the rest are $110.00.My question … why is this and are there 2 different classic’s at the end of the yr?

check the divisions, the one’s with 160 entries are 2K garr. payback, and whereas TS has better participation in those. 110 divisions have a 1K garr. for first
May 2, 2005 at 3:49 pm #360680DanW,it has to do with geographic area, any division can requeast the higher entry fee,to have higher payouts.Example,MN. division use to be $110.00 but anglers wanted more money on the table so a survey was done and MN. went to $160.00.
IA.division is the largest division in Team Supreme and are a $110.00 entry fee.
All divisions fish the same Championship, this year the Team of Combs and Combs from NE. won angler of the year,1st place champions and famliy team of the year, they won about $60,00 in cash and prizes.
This year Team Supreme rewarded anglers $280,000 in cash and prizes at the championship,May 2, 2005 at 7:56 pm #360752So with “open” tournies that have a 160$ entry fee, the payout is a guaranteed 2k payback for the winners?

I didn’t know MN division guaranteed $2K for 1st? Thought that was only Super North. Though MN should if it has the same entry fee.BIGDADDY280Posts: 64May 3, 2005 at 10:20 pm #361035Survey was taken and 87% of those who responded kept the entry fee at 160.00!! T.S. pays 1 in 5 there has not been a sponsor who will step forward and guarantee $2,000.00 it takes 66 boats to cover 2,000.00 payback. It is math, the sponsors cover the boat difference between 66 and the actual number of participants. There is a SIGNIFICANT difference in payout $ between 110.00 and 160.00
May 4, 2005 at 12:11 am #361048Hey Bigdaddy, you sure know a lot about Team Supreme. You sure you aren’t Peter T. or Kenyon Hill????
Just kidding. I would rather pay the extra $50 to win more, but I wish we had a sponsor that COULD guarantee $2K for Minnesota. Not that I’d ever have a chance at winning……
Team Supreme is the best team circuit in the Midwest. BAR NONE!!!!!!!!!!!BIGDADDY280Posts: 64May 4, 2005 at 2:00 pm #361156As I said I would probably “out” myself. Thanks for the comments we are trying real hard to find such a sponsor. I will tell Pete and the “Hill” of your comments!! This forum is great for us IDA members.
