Snake Bit

I was out on some of the backwater sloughs with about 2-4 feet of water looking for mr bass and instead hit a load of Pike willing to knock the crap out of my white spinnerbait, then my chartruse spinnerbait when many of my whites were lost or busted. The biggest of the day was a 39″ 14.5lb very healthy bursier. Many in the low mid 30’s!
It was really fun.
I do have pics but they are the first on the camera in the boat, so they will wait for a bit.

Yeah Haywood the northerns have been out all over. Here is one of my bigger ones from my last trip out last year. She was caught on Bartlett Lake on a black buzzbait in the lily pads, photographed and released. I will be out looking this year again. Tons of fun! Haywood we will have to try and get out this year since we never made it last year. Oh well schools almost out. Two more weeks.
