I finally got out for my first day on the water. I heard that it was going to be real warm down in Savanna, IL so I headed down. It was very warm. 77 when I left at 6:30 pm. I only caught 2 bass. 1 swimming a white jig with a chartruse grub. 16 inches and a 5# 3oz on a Timber King spoon. the fish were about 10 feet apart. I was fishing the top of a flooded island, with bushes on it, in a backwater lake. I have a picture and will try to attach. The warmest water was 64 and was 59 where the fish were caught.
Pool 13 5# 3oz
