    My boat is getting a little buff and scratch removal pampering so I am boatless for a couple days… So, if there is anyone who wants to spend a little time at pleasant creek Sunday afternoon please holler. Call it a free guide trip on your boat… I really need a fix.

    Its over by Cedar Rapids… About 2.5 hours fro lacrosse but if you are willing to drive I am willing to put you on plenty of fish…

    Great weather tough fishing. Water still real cold, we hooked one nice fish and lost it, hopefully got that out of the way for the year. Good to get out and start the year off. Regardless great way to start of the season and work out the kinks. Thanks JC

    What a pleasure. Thanks again for taking me out. I suspect we need a couple more days. The water temps was hovering at 41-42 degrees and nothing was really moving yet. The gills were still deep, a few shad are starting the shallow run and this is where we found our only solid taker. Days like Sunday really calm the soul. Thanks again and next time I assure you that we will bucket a pile.

    now, why didn’t you go out w/ your partner, blue? Looks like he had a ball! Riverfan and i only got one smallie, but it was the right kind! nearly 6# for sure. See ya at the ROCK!

    It was easter so my leash was short… In a couple weeks I will be a permanent fixture.
