Is anyone fishing the MSBC this year? I’m looking over their entry form and it says that application and entry fee must be received by December 31, 2004 in order to participate in the 2005 MSBC.

There’s also something about 2004 Application deadline and boat position…????

I’m going to make some calls tomorrow and try to find out some more info…I’ve had my doubts about how this circuit is run and if they’ve already had cut off dates to enter, i think many people will be Especially since this information as far as i know just came out recently. I think i know of a few people that STILL haven’t been paid from last year’s tourney???? Can anyone confirm?

Last thing I heard was anybody wanting to fish these have to get their $$$ in a week before the first tourney. I doubt they will stick to the rules for deadlines on their app. because the app. didn’t come out until a few weeks ago.

What, JC, are you collecting it all this year to be handed over the winners? I know you still need some to keep for yourself… I suppose I can split the winnings with you!

To answer Sloppy… I stopped in and talked to Scotty this AM… Dates are:

    May 1st

    June 19

    July 10

    September 4

You can enter one or as many as you’d like… entry will be accepted up until 2 weeks prior to each event. No last minute entries, just as before.

    So, there you have it!

Last year Blue and I sent our money in for the one that was called off due to flood. We have left messages and no return calls. I just want to know where our money is and when we can expect the check to arrive. maybe they should call it MS”BWS”C….

I clicked on their website to see what MSBC stood for and was happily suprised to see it stands for Multiple Sclerosis Bass Circuit. My hats off to all you guys for supporting that circuit. Theres an awful lot of great causes to fish for out there and this looks like another good one.

    Jimt,

thought i’d bring this back up to the top seeing as it’s coming up this Sunday.

I talked to Randy a few weeks back and they had just over 50 boats signed up for this first tournie. Should be a good time.

They are holding the weigh-in at the landing this year though. (Since Bob’s is moving across the street)

I know you, me, BC, wingdam, Champman are doing it….Any others out there?

We got our entry in for all 4 last week. Was at Bob’s today and Scott has a list of all entries and boat numbers for all 4 tournies. Looks like 52 teams for this weekend are already signed up, so should be a decent payout. Looked like about 30+ teams signed up for the rest but I’m sure that number will grow.

Any word if anymore boats have signed up?

Sounds like we have a pretty big field already.

Deadline has already passed for this 1st. tourney. I think someone earlier said 52, which is a decent field….

It looks like it’s going to be crappy weather conditions for this tomorrow with a high of 49 and strong winds.

Not sure who is all fishing tomorrow, but good luck to everyone!

Dad and I missed the deadline by a few days…

With the weather conditions and the fish being screwed up with the fronts, it will make it tough! Dad and I went out today, caught fish, but size was not tourney win material, primarily schools of 2#ers. We had fun, and we’ll see many of you out there tomorrow cheering you on!

BC, Slop, Wingdam – the Jerkin’ Lips crew is backing you, good luck!
