Catfish Days Bass Tourney

Anybody going down to Tremp. to fish this weekend? I was out for a cruise from Tremp to north of Winona last weekend and it was high and it was dirty. Good Luck finding anything in that mess.

It has come down alot since last week. The eyes were biting on wingdams, throwing cranks. The bite should be better since the water is clearing up. Good Luck out there this weekend.

I will not be participating in the Catfish Days Team Walleye/Bass event this year sorry to say.

I might check out the weigh in if time permits.

I don’t think you’ll be missing much. My friends down there say the river isn’t going down or clearing up much for a couple of weeks. Must be better up by DodgeBoy but I don’t know how especially with all the rain we’ve had up here in the last week.
If anybody fishes it let us know how you did and how your livers are.

I was out on pool 8 today and the conditions are not exactly stellar on the main river but the fish are always catchable somewhere. Look no further than ecnook. He has been as giddy as a little girl lately down on pool 10. Judging from the photos he has found some cleaner water sloughs with fish stacking up. And Reefhawg is stickin em on dams in pool 9. Its possible the junk we’re now getting hasnt gotten to them yet.

The only thing I won’t put on is a skirt I’m hearing theres some crud comming down this way ….and you know the old saying……it all flows down stream !!!!
