better bassin, pool 6, 7, or 8

    Haven’t fished the river since last years Everstart in Redwing. Only fished out of Onalaska once, about 11 years ago. Since this years Everstart is taking off from Onalaska I was curious to what you river guys think the best pool for bass would be, 6, 7,or 8 Thanks.

    Pool 6 has the biggest fish but pool 8 has better numbers of quality fish.

    The Everstart is launching from Clinton St. In LAX (Pool 8)…If you want to double-lock up to 6, go ahead, but you better make sure you are on some Solid Fish.

    Unsure about 6 anyway…but 7-8-9 can all be deadly in August if you’ve put your time in. They all have their strong points.
