Looks like I am going to get the weekend off and will be coming up to pool 10 for some bassin this weekend. Anybody been out lately? Looks like water will be up but dropping about a foot in the next 3-4 days.
    Any tips?
will post when i get back sunday.
Hopefully will be able to find some quiet in the early am prior to pleasure boat/jet ski rush hour over the holiday weekend.
    Thanks in advance.

I fished A tourney on Sunday and things were tuff! Many quality anglers had only a fish or 2. With the water dropping I suspect you will have beter results. Good Luck.

How long do the fish wait before moving out of the backwaters? I have a few spots which seem to work well with high and rising water, but they will be about 3 feet deep and dropping based on current predictions. I am not real strong at the in-between bite- i do well if it is high and stable or low but when dropping i seem to lose them. thanks.

As soon as the water drops an ince or so they will start positioning themselves dependin on the fall rate. It they are dropping the bottom out you can expect fish to be located in the mouths or deeper water areas until stability returns. Good Luck

A steady dropping pool can make just about anybody feel like a pro. Follow the migration routes from big flats, backwaters, & lakes to small funneling spots. It’s time to head for the lake when the level goes up and down in yo yo fashion.
