    I need to know if I can get a boat in at the State landing at Lansing… If I can I am heading down on Sunday… Someone please clue me in on the Ice Copnditions.

    Hi i live in Lansing you might be able to put in across the bridge I saw the water was open their today i wouldnt be scared to try it.

    The Winneshiek or big slough I’m sure are fine, but as Herb said no way @ Village Creek

    Thanks for the heads up. If I put in under the bridge can I pretty much go where ever I choose on the main river?

    Never heard of that. Where is it? Where does it come into the slough at?

    Me neither, not sure where it is that you are talking about. MN slough is still tight with ice over a foot thick. Pulled snowmobile trailers with ATV’s carrrying 2000 plus LBS of fish on it last sat. with no problems. I don’t see it opening up quite yet.
