I have caught a great deal of largemouth on Lake Pepin. The spots that I have the best luck are any mouth to any size of a bay. If there is a little point or ledge at the mouth, it is that much better. Most of the time I will throw a topwater (Torpedo) into the bay as far as I can and bring it out over the ledge or near the point. Other baits that work well on the lake are dark colored ( red, craw, etc. ) Rattle Traps. Same areas as mentioned before and same presentation. Usually with these however, they will almost always nail it within a few cranks of retrieve. Good Luck!!!!!!
