Open Water/Landing Updates

    There is open water at Clinton St…but the dock is still surrounded by ice. I’m pretty sure the Water is open all the way down to the Mississippi…

    This is a lot further up the Black River, a half click below the Onalaska Spillway.

    Maybe BC can get us some pics of the 7th St. Landing and surrounding areas

    I didn’t get any pictures, but I did check out the 7th Street landing next to my house and noticed that there is full access (no ice) to the main channel.

    I should be able to post some pics tomorrow, but trust me, its really looking good. Even the slough is starting to flow!

    I think VEEERRRYY shortly we’ll be tossin’ lures!

    Here are some from 7th St. today…looks like a little floating ice came down….but MAN does that look nice

    Oh yeah…no closed season on the MISS.

    Back when I had an aluminum boat I’d just drive her right through the ice chunks on the river. Don’t think I’d want to do that with the fiberglass rig though.
