Thanks for sharing a great article, much more positive than most of the potentially hyped up articles that I have read. Have snakeheads been found in Mississippi River yet? If so where?

February 9, 2005 at 3:07 pm #341932Seems like there was an article last year about a Snakehead found in WI on or near the Mississippi. Don’t get too alarmed, however, as I recall this also stated that if they could survive here they couldn’t reproduce as they are a warm climate fish and couldn’t take the winters here.

February 10, 2005 at 5:44 am #342161They look just like a bowfin to me . I dont see how they could be any more aggresive than them doggies. They are flat out nasty.I have lost a box full of spinnerbaits to them,they just trash em.
