Has anyone ever used them? They were the rage down south in the early BASS events last season. I am #1 on the waiting list for the Guntersville BASS tourny so I figure my tackle selection would not be complete without a couple dozen. I have aquired a few more Pointer minnows and Rouges so I need some more plastic. ( Don’t we all )

They also have a “smallie beaver” and a “DOUBLE-WIDE Beaver”!
The Small Beave is 3.2″ long
The Sweet Beave is 4.2″ long
The 2X-wide Beave is 5.2″ longJanuary 29, 2005 at 7:54 am #339439them southern girls do have sweet ones from what i hear.
dont forget your traps and i think the company that makes beaver is reaction innovations. good luck, make us river boys from the midwest proud!January 30, 2005 at 6:12 pm #339563They have a bunch of colores, I think I like the bloody bug ( junebug with red flake) and watermelom red. They look like fish catchers and maybe the hematoma. Little pricey for my taste but cant afford not to have a few if its a flippin bite
January 31, 2005 at 3:36 pm #339718I saw these at the CR show this past weekend. 5 Season’s Bait has them in Cedar Rapids. Look very nice even if they do have funny name. Packaging nice to look at too.

February 4, 2005 at 7:36 pm #340936BTW the sign isn’t too big. This is a red house converted to a store with a Pepsi Machine outside the front door.
February 4, 2005 at 8:35 pm #340960Are there any large retailers that are carrying these. I’ve checked Gander, Cabelas, but nothing. Guess I could just order them, since I can’t find any place local. Thanks DK
February 5, 2005 at 4:40 pm #341102Hey, boys,
Uh, I think this week is Be Nice To Animals Week… so I think we should all go kiss a beaver!
Later, boys,
OTW
PS Oh, I just couldn’t help myself.
February 6, 2005 at 12:13 am #341167http://www.landbigfish.com has them
http://www.backwateronline.com has themriverdogPosts: 90February 6, 2005 at 3:25 pm #341242Hey guys, get them at http://www.tacklewarehouse.com. They have the regular one, the smallie beaver, and the double-wide. Bunch of colors. Pretty good prices. Free shipping on orders over $50. And when you click on a color, you see the the bait about half the size of the screen so you can get a good look at it. I’ve ordered some stuff from them, and it takes about 5 days to get it. That should be fast enough considering we still have ice.
fishnutPosts: 97February 9, 2005 at 3:42 pm #341942Five seasons had no beavers for me . Gonna have to order on line.
February 9, 2005 at 4:40 pm #341956Sorry Dave he had a good deal at the last show. Must have sold them all. I hope you asked for them. I just realized they might not have been out in the store but in the trailer with his show tackle.
My apologies for the goose chase. LOL
February 9, 2005 at 4:48 pm #341958I tried to order some from tacklewarehouse yesterday. About 70% of them were on backorder until late next week sometime…. They do have some colors in stock, but they don’t ship until your entire order goes out. Still have time before I am on the water to use them so might just order and wait!
February 10, 2005 at 5:15 am #342151Hey no problem Ken. The fella that was in there was not the owner and we looked all over the place but could find none. I got to see part of CR that I had never been to( and maybe never see again )and I had some time to kill before supper at the Texas Roadhouse. Nice beavers there! I recommend that place, great prime rib .

http://www.backwatersonline.comFebruary 11, 2005 at 8:14 am #342444I really like the looks of their jointed crank baits …but $14.99 each ?…Can someone tell me why thay are so expensive ?
February 12, 2005 at 2:50 pm #342684Those crankbaits do look sweet.
$15 for a crankbait though. I’ll try it for that, but Id hate to buy 10-12 at a time.February 13, 2005 at 3:06 am #342788Jackal,Mega Bass, Lucky Craft, and Reaction Innovations all have extremely high priced crankbaits. Now up your way on the river the water clarity might be good enough the highly detailed crankbaits might be worth the money. Down here id look at the sound characteristics more then the look.
