Thanks to my good friend, BassinAl…I have found a great boat to get me out on the water this upcoming season!

It took me awhile, but I finally decided to go ahead and get one…I figured I may as well just go big and start with a Ranger!

Sorry if this makes you sad, Al!

Hey B.C., I’ve spent many hours fishing in that thing when Al owned it. He added lots of goodies. Great boat! However, BEWARE!!! For some reason the guy in the back of the boat usually catches more fish than the guy in the front! Ain’t that right CarpAL?

    ENJOY IT!

Thanks guys! I’m sure I’ll catch some fish with it. I’m not worried about catching the most fish when Slop is in the back of the boat!

BC… it may have had fish in it before, but you’ll have a hard time beatin’ me on Wed nights… unless, of course, I’m riding along!

B.C. Are you going to just put it in the garage and patiently wait for open water? Or are you going to be making an unexpected trip down South for a weekend? If you choose the latter, let me know when!

Hopefully I’ll be able to take it south. I plan on picking it up from Al’s place after the Expo. Maybe I’ll take a special trip and do so!

Are you going south with yours?

Those poles are just there for looks. Al hasn’t figured out how to use a baitcaster yet.

    Hi Al !

I’m thinkin the drive won’t be any farther south than El Salto!

No seriously, probably 10 hrs or so. (tenn-bama area)?

That’d be fun…Slop will be anxious to head south too I’m sure when he gets his boat.

I’m awaiting Al’s response to that! I haven’t mastered the baitcaster myself…practice makes perfect though and I plan to do a LOT of practicing this year!
