Got out for a few hours this morning. Caught 4 small l.m. and s.m. and one 16″ smallie on a spinnerbait on rock banks in the black river. Not sure where the big smallies that spawned went. Heard that largemouth were doing better, but have no idea where. Anyone else been out?
I have been out many times here in the past few days and have caught a number of the nice smallies 18-19 inches. They have mostly been spawned out, but there are still a few that are full. The large mouths have started to pick up again as well. Still mostly around 14 inches though. For the smallies, i have been on the rocks in the cuurent.
