Madison Fishing Expo?

January 21, 2005 at 4:27 am #337800
Al just called and said he’s heading over to Madison a little early! He just stopped by LaCrosse and picked up Sloppy about 30 minutes ago.
He wanted to ask if it was OK to bring some members from his new bass fishing club. Evidently he’s got a busload of them that will be spending the weekend with us.
As I was explaining that some partying might be going on, he quickly interrupted and said, “Dude, these are the hippest people I’ve ever hung with. In fact, half of us are LOADED now and we’re still 2 hours away from Madison”!
He then said he had to go because some chick two rows in front of him was breaking out some tequila and lemon and getting ready to do body shots!Sounds like Al hooked us up!
See you all there.

January 26, 2005 at 4:59 pm #338783So what’s the deal then…am I giving anyone a ride back after the Expo? I know Al had mentioned that to me before.
January 26, 2005 at 10:39 pm #338875BC, I plan on helping the guys at the Brovarney Baits booth Sunday for a few hours. I can bring everyone out on Saturday, and you can take them back on Sunday. Unless some are willing to wait until Sunday around noonish to go back to the Milwaukee area, in that case I can take them back.
You still plan on going back to Al’s house Sunday morning right?
January 26, 2005 at 10:42 pm #338876Dan Bro, got your e-mail. SWEET jigs! Definately a MAT-BUSTER!
Mk_17, I’ll send you some pictures of them, and I’m sure they’ll have a few at the booth during the show that you can check out.

That’s the plan and that’d be cool w/me. I’m going to Al’s to pick up the boat anyways.
I know of a couple bars we can hit up while we’re down there too.
Hey Al – Did you get any pics from the trade show today?
January 27, 2005 at 2:08 am #338940Ok guys. I know Al reserved 3 rooms already. Not sure where though. Where are we staying Al?
We will have at least 6 beds and PLENTY of floor space for air mattresses. My guess is we can meet up at the show, or maybe a local restraunt and go from there. We can figure out the details as we get closer. 5 weeks away.

The big question is…does it have a bar?
swimjigPosts: 37January 27, 2005 at 5:35 pm #339061Matt or mats anywhere you want to be……Florida sounds good right about now.
Guess I better get my butt in gear and start building them.
I’ll get pictures up on the web soon.
January 28, 2005 at 1:38 pm #339224Slop is right on the Hotel information. I don’t think it has a bar, but dude, were in Madison. We have many bars to choose from.
January 28, 2005 at 5:49 pm #339283Are these mat buster jigs going to be in Madison or are these just prototypes?
January 28, 2005 at 9:28 pm #339377The plan is to have some on hand. How many? Dan will have to answer that. I heard a count yesterday, but I’m not sure what can be finished by the show.

January 30, 2005 at 12:30 am #339501I know there will be some good swim jigs there (at Mdison) because of Brovarny. But speaking of other great swim jigs, gordon, are you gonna be there for RC Takle?
January 30, 2005 at 1:26 am #339506Sorry..
Gordon is living it up in Florida right now…Don’t think we’ll see much of him anytime soon
swimjigPosts: 37January 30, 2005 at 3:13 am #339521Maybe if we all ask the guy at the HOG Tank he will demo them all…….
