    Hey, guys,

My first reaction to this story was this: the guy seeking damages is a leaker, a shyster, a little panty-boy.

    Thanks,

IT IS PEOPLE LIKE THIS THAT WRECKS EVERYTHING FOR EVERYBODY. YOU VOLUNTEER TO DO SOMETHING AND SUE….WHAT NEXT SUEING YOU PARENTS BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T GET THE JOB YOU WANTED BECAUSE THEY SENT YOU TO A PUBLIC SCHOOL INSTEAD OF A PRIVATE ONE???

Ya, things are getting way out of hand. It is a scary world because of things like this. You need to be very careful even helping someone. There needs to be change in the court system. In fact hasn’t there been some talk about that??? Maybe one of you will know. I thought there has been something at least drawn up for this reason, but not yet put forth?

Not sure how it would apply to this situation, but there are “Good Samaritan Laws” which protect people from frivalous lawsuites when they are only trying to help. They explain these when you go through CPR – if you do your best and something (god forbid) were to happen that was negative (broken ribs, death, etc) that you cannot be sued.

The world is not yet a lost cause… keep the faith, especially this time of year!

a couple weeks ago a bill was passed or at least up for vote limiting many of the BS laysuits being filed and increases liability for unwarrented litigation.

what did he expect? a paddle boat ride? maybe one of those big tricycle looking deals they have in the swimsuit issue? come on, what a softie. to sue over an honor like this is absolutely ridiculous. I “get” to see this crap all the time with foolish medical lawsuits.

JC, Thats what I was thinking. It was something to the effect that if people wanted to bring BS suits to court they could be held liable for attorney’s fees?? Does that sound right?

The craziest part of this whole deal is that his wife is filed suit as well claiming she’s been denied of his “services” as a result of his injuries. Not sure exactly what that means, but figured one of you guys might be willing to take one for the team and help Edwin and BASS out. You might want to request photos first!

In that light I might have to side with the guy going for the ride. I havce been on some really bad rides but if it was bad enough to break’dem little fellers it was way over anything I could imagine…
Whats that play thats popular around this time of year????
