When I registered for Everstart, the fisrt question they asked me was the horsepower capacity listed on my manufactures plate! Hum…… I told them “unlimited”, and they just went to the next question.

all i get is it says manfucture/and or us coast guard. n ot coast guard and or the manufacture. just because the uscg dont rate boats over 20 feet, the manufacture should make darn sure they they have one on there. maybe basscat dont have one on there but im sure the rangers the tritons the skeeters and everyother boat out there im willing to bet that the manufacture puts theres on there. it dosent say anything at all about having to have it coast guard approved. just by the manufacture

The rules in effect during the DQ did in fact say specifically “Coast Guard.” Manufacturer plate would not have been sufficient according to their rules. It was a bad rule and has been changed as it should have been. BFL should have handled it better since they made the bad rule. They just could not admit when they are wrong. Someone mught sue. I guess credibility is cheaper.
