In all honesty we have been so busy with N. Pike,Catfish and Walleye/sauger that we haven’t spent much time in the last week and a half fishing for bass. When we did the floating weeds were impossible. We have found several locations with good numbers and a few spots still hold their normal one or two bigger fish…but no ten different spots with 30-40 fish a spot. Just wondering if anybody is finding some. Most years this is still maybe a week early to expect it…but a last year they moved in late September.

Saturday we caught so many fish it was almost obsurd. We stopped counting after 20 over 3lbs. Heck, we even took time to catch about 100 2lb stripers. Everything in the water was biting. I suspect Tom will have the report posted soon.

    Feed baging?

Hmm. Yeah, a lot of biscuts and gravey, hushpuppies -oh, I get it now.

Down here in VA, I’ve been spending some time with drop shoting. Man, I tell ya, it can be a very powerful tool to put a limit in the boat.

    Thanks,

    Jeff,
Pick up the float and fly and give her a whirl.
