I will be in Prairie du Chein this upcoming weekend and was wondering if it would be worthwhile to tow boat along? Where would I start to look for bass? Thanks…

Bring the boat along, with the recent warm weather the bass should be starting to hit. I don’t fish the Praire area alot but if your willing to run south to the Bagley area contact me privately and I’ll give you a few specific areas to try. Otherwise I would concentrate on the backwaters for largemouth.

Go to Stark’s or another sports store and get a backwater map. I even think some of the restaurants still have them. Fish Greenmore, Folsum, Fish Lake, Lost Lake, Upper Double and Five Fingers. You should find fish in all the above.

Lost Lake and Folsum? I have numerous maps and don’t know where these are? Can you clue me in a little.

    Thanks

Thank you all for the suggestions. I will be taking the boat along this weekend. Hope the water level isn’t too high.

Lost Lake is way up the Ambrough and needs high water to get into it. Folsum is the first island below Greenmore on the river side of the shoot. Fish between the island and Fish Lake
