    Well as my bass partner likes to say, the SKUNK flag is down. Caught our first Smallmouth of the year Friday, and while reluctant they could be coaxed to bite. The bite is sure to improve dramaticaly in the next week as the water temp responds to this near 80 degree weather.

    Hello, How did you do today fishing? I saw, what I think was you (Black/Purple boat w/ Merc 300 ProMax). My buddy and I did terrible.

    300 promax… must have been a different black and purple Stroker. I only have a 225.

    That was me, I saw you out there too.

    Today was the slowest day of the weekend. Stable weather is a must when the bite is still fragile. Stable Does NOT include a morning thunderstorm. It’ll get better.

    Hey guys ,

    It wont be long , the largemouth are going good in SE Iowa and Mo.We have our second tourny this weekend ,pre-fishing was great on Rouge and a jig.
