What’s green, weighs 7lbs and is going on the office wall where JC works.

That is a super-sweet fishy. VERY nice.

They look more like balloon clips, not a stringer.

Should we “Go JC” and get all philsophical about how this post really isn’t helpful and if he’s going to post, he’d better clean up his act?

    Green carp?

Oops. Sorry. Walleye fishermen joke. Couldn’t help myself.

Boy do I feel like a cat in a dog pound!

    Seriously, nice fish Jeremy!

These are the fish we were going to weigh in at Pokagama for the MN Teamsupreme tourney last fall. Our water was called off limits. We got notification the morning of.. Bad luck all around but we wanted to see how we would have done. Seems we would have had at least a 5lb lead over the next closest team. anyway we had a great time fishing. Truely a great fishery. These fish were all caught SWIMMING A JIG.
OK, maybe not. We were actually C-rigging a green pumpkin sammy.

Thanks for the pictures Jeremy you told us about the last minute change in boundries and now we get to see why it really hurt. Although your post did make that clear. I still admire you guys that can put big stringers together almost every tourney. I really don’t have much trouble finding one or two large fish most tourneys but I find myself filling in with 1.7 -2.2 ers & that won’t do squat with the caliber of Bass fisherman we have around here. My dream is still to win a series tourney with only three fish.. all over 5#s… I’ve already done that in walleye tourneys.

Played with that pic a little Jeremy. Hope you don’t mind.
This one I upped the brightness and gamma just a tad and enhanced the colors a little too.

    JC

That string trumps the smallies that come off the lake. To bad you couldn’t weigh them. From what I understand the river has been seperated from the lake for all future tournaments. That sucks.

Your telling me. Take a perfectly great fishery and let the lake associations dictate policy with no reguard for the fishermen. Who is it that pays all the up keep for the lake??? I am pretty sure its not the land owners. Now Whitefish, gull, hommy dude, and minnewashka all have 7:00 am starts because of the noise. What about the [censored] drunk in a rocket sled running around the lake at 2:00 am with no lights or sence about him… Color me confused.

    Ray –

What tools are you using to adjust the images?

When I tried a few photoshop filters and look at what they revealed!!

That and an over zealous regional DNR. As you aware we have all kinds of battles to fight.I expect another round on Lake Minnetonka will pop up soon.
