I was looking at my map of the river last night, and noticed Pool 11 had some decent looking areas on it, and was wondering if anybody bass fishes out there. I haven’t heard much talk about that pool, and im curious to know how people do out there. I’ve never fished out there, but would like to check it out someday. 
I have just fished it a few times and I’ve always caught a lot of fish but I’ve not yet found the big ones. There were some nice fish that came out of there during our first tournament in April. They were both SM & LM but I think the biggest were SM.
Where did you launch Ken? And are there any launches that you would reccommend? I’d rather pay a few dollars extra, if it’s a better launch.
pool 11 is a great fishery. It had several bad years with to much over harvest and tournament pressure. It has rebounded nicely. Better smallies on 11 then 10…

I launched at Mud Lake. It is a county park. Ramp isn’t bad but it is in a big water area. If the wind is blowing from the right direction I think it could get tough to use. So far no problems.
