    Ahh Gentlemen….

I have arrived. First off, let me begin by saying my predictions were correct ALL WEEK!!! REELGUY was CARRIED ONCE AGAIN by his partner WINGDAM. While DanWi and I were on some fish and managed 2 keepers, it just wasn’t the 5lb’er I bagged earlier in the day.(pics to come) Let’s not forget i had been out for 11 hours already that day and was pretty beat.

AND REELGUY is so very luck i have the BFL on Saturday, otherwise i would EASILY surpase him to take season three.

Despite the turnout, CONGRATS to REELGUY on a well fished season. Although carried throughout, you always managed to have your partner find fish.. Seriously though, nice job. I’ll be looking forward to the 1 day season 4 tourney, WINNER TAKE ALL!!!

I’m off for now, i’ve been on the water a total of 24 hours the past two days, gonna rest and watch the game w/BassinAL and Dnort . Good luck this weekend MOTLEY and BC, let’s not have “DONNA” take it just yet..!!!I’ll check back tomorrow

Good luck, Slop in the BFL. Just got word that Reel Guy is taking 10 year old Jordan with him for tomorrow’s clubber..not his normal partner (dad)… but the kid has excellent karma, so Reel Guy will have a nice bag. BC, Wingdam…it’s up to us to have a nicer one!

    Ok, back to work now

Yes… and Slop accuses me of only fishing with Ringers… of course, that 10-year old of yours has carried me before…

Can he repeat? Will Motley (dad) coach his son to knock Reel Guy’s fish off when netting and to “forget” to set the hook and offer his son 1/2 the prize money…

Motley… you **will** be beaten by your son… (And, for those of you with kids… that is the best thing a man can ask for! )

    Oh… 22 hours and counting…

I have a feeling the BFL tourney will be delayed a couple hours, which will give us about 2-3 hours of good fishing while they’re waiting at the landing.

I think it will be a good day of fishing. I see there is a low front coming through in the morning, which could make the fish “turn on”! I think a great day should be had by all.

Here’s what I know regarding tomorrow’s tourney for you guys. The neighbor kid in Dresbach caught a 5lb 21.5″ Smallie off the green wall next to the landing in Dresbach. That fish alone would have been enough to win.

I’m really happy for Ben, but really saddened my neighbor(who fishes for Bass a lot) told him to keep it because he’ll probably never see another Smallie that big again. If it’s one thing I’ve learned in the last few years, is the fish are getting bigger and better every year. The chances for a repeat are better than they’ve ever been.

Good luck to you guys this weekend.

Did he at least keep it for the wall and not eat that surely mushy fish?

Good luck, Slop in the BFL.

Motley you’re in the best position to take out Reel Guy so show no mercy. Not sure I’m even fishing but BC and I will have our work cut out for us.

Hope to see ya’ll tomorrow !

C’mon Wingdam, you have to show up tomorrow! The more people there to take out Reel Guy…the merrier!

I hope we can run into some bigger fish than we did last night, MossBoss!

Like you said…Pool 7 has been hit or miss this year.

It would seem that Wingdam is scared of RG…

Bring it on, boys! I have a 10 year old in my boat that says you guys will ALL have to bow to us!

If Wingdam forfeits, the rest of you leave me with no fight…

I mean, Wingdam has a reputation at Mary’s… just spoke to Scott this AM… all I can say Frosty… is are you FROSTY or have you become a big PUDDLE!

Season’s not over yet Frosty… come out and show your stuff! Afterall, we all know you are the one to beat! Two 4 lbers and you own me!

With Slop Bass sewing on more patches tonight to make sure he can “hang with the big boys”, I need someone out there to challenge me!

“The Lurker” shall surely have respond to this…

    Perhaps even our beloved “Jedi”…

I take offense to that last post. I have two weeks missed this season and am still in contention to beat you outright…pretty sad if you ask me!

I don’t rely on my partner to carry me either!

I would like Wingdam to be there though…just to keep the pressure on you. But, if he doesn’t I will still put up a challenge.

    I think I hit a cord…

    See you on the water!

For those interested in a REEL Weigh-in, go to Shafer’s at 12:15… avoid the BFL boys!

(Sincerely, to the BFLers… Good luck, see you at your weigh-in! )

Season #3 comes to a conclusion with some interesting details…

Reel Guy and Motley’s Son (“J”) turn in a 3.7 # LM… when that hit the boat about 7 AM, J and RG sighed with relief… and it left us with big fish, although BC gave us a run for the money with his beauty (next post). Motley had a great time with his brother-in-law. LOTS of fish caught… most shorts by most boats.

Moss Boss great to see you again… your son is mighty handsome!

Final results will be posted tomorrow (I need to collate the data… I think BC might have taken 3rd…)… Pretty sure it will look like:
    1. ReelGuy
    2. BC
    3. Motley
    4. Slop Bass
    5. Wingdam (Frosty) – he dicided to not fish, otherwise he likely would have overtaken me! Some pictures to follow and final numbers tomorrow.

It was fun day of fishing. Hoover and I got on some fish early and were able to get two legals in the boat by 7am!

Around 7:30am, I brought the 3lber in off the slop using a white tournament scum frog. I would say 20 fish were caught by our boat, 6 were legals. If I would’ve known we would’ve been on that many fish, I would’ve entered the BFL as a co-angler!

The bite turned off though around 8am. Fishing was tough after that. I think Gary and I had a good day fishing though.

I don’t know REELGUY, looks like BC’s and maybe even MOTLEY’s fish are both bigger than yours, yet YOURS weighs most at 3.7….hmmm?? I guarantee if I had made it, I would have called for a re-weigh on them.

I thought you had your weighing-in privs taken away cause you kept doing them wrong???

I did! Motley did all the weighing! He confirmed twice with BC watching in disbelief… it had a great set of shoulders on her! A true beauty.

If you look closer, my fish is EVEN with Jordon holding his out to the camera… nice fish!

I would have sold it too you for your BFL weigh-in for just pennies…

I did see it…I suppose there’s a chance that it could’ve been weighed incorrectly?

That’s okay…I’m gearing up for the tournament on the 2nd. I kind of wish we were on pool 8 for a change though.

Next year BC, we will varry up the pool locations more… we are a growing and evolving club. One year at a time, baby! We’ll have 6 months of “off season” drinking and discussions to establishn next year!

I think we would all benefit by changing our weekend tournaments to say Pool 4, 5 or 9? Neutral water would make it fair to everyone and we’d all learn more about other areas. We’ll definitely have much to discuss over a few !
