    REELGUY..

here’s an interesting statistic you will enjoy. We’ve fished 20 times this year. In head to head competition

    ReelGuy-10
    Slop -09
ties -01 (we were paired up, had we not been, we’d be tied)

After tonights Victory….we’ll be tied w/just a few outings to go…Should make for an interesting finish!!

    Good luck

Well last night didn’t yield the big fish that is has these past few weeks….actually turned out to be a pretty tough bite. Seems like the infamous 13.75″ fish were out in full force as well.

With such a solid slop bite going on as of late, that’s where BLUE and I headed. Our first spot yielded 1 keeper, 1 short, 1 dogfish, and 1 bullrush on a lure that almost cause a whitecap. Unfortunetly all we got was the one fish

    BUT

It was enough to BEAT REELGUY WOO HOO. Which is all that really matters anymore

Great night last night! Good weather, great comraderie, and some wonderful guests… DanWi, Blue Fleck, and MossBoss… great to have you out with us.

DanWi… Clubbers have you labeled “Ringer” now… Flashy new boat with 200 horses pushing it and catching the BIG fish on a night when the bite was tough…

Now, I have some IDA witnesses… Slop Bass’s energy is directly correlated to his ability (or lack thereof) to out-fish me. Perhaps I should be honored? Hmmmm…

One Wed night and one Sat tourney left… Can Slop overtake me? We shall see… another nice bag like he had 2 weeks ago, and he does. If he chokes, I hold bragging rights… pressure is on. I will continue to bite my tongue until the cap-stone is fished on Sat Sept 11…..

The tension mounts as tomorrow draws near….and how ironic that REELGUY pairs himself up w/another top member in club…. inevitably setting himself up for success Will wingdam CARRY geister into a Season 3 victory ….or will DanWI and Slop bring home the bacon

Predictions anyone? I’ve outfished REELGUY the past 4-5 weeks in a row…Can i get in one more? REELGUY has a 1.9lb lead on me…and we both have 2.6lbs as our smallest bag to cull out….That means i have to bring in 4.5lbs to overtake you, depending on your bag. YOU’RE GOING DOWN I predict 2 14″ for GMAN!!!

Slop, don’t forget Motley sits in second place just .6 lbs behind Reel Guy too bad I have to coach my kid’s football team on Wed night, or I may have been able to knock out my low bag for the season of 2.1. I’ll just have to save it for the season ender on Saturday

Very Good point Motley…..You have the best chance of all to take Season 3 . Get to your spots early on Saturday, b/c you will be competing w/all the BFL boats (me included) that will be out…Could make things difficult!!

I have a strong feeling that I’ll be in the running after tomorrow night considering I have two small bags that I can strongly approve upon. Plus, I’ll be fishing both of the remaining outings, if I can find a partner for Saturday.

Slop… you have the size of the catch you need to catch your leader… Cause you know, if you ain’t the lead dog, all you get to see is my big, white

Wingdam and I will have 2 fish… the size may be 13.9999, but we’ll have 2!

For those of you that would like to me Motley… he’s one of the finest men I know, and the god-father to my son. Top notch. Here is a picture of Mike and his son…

Ahhh… does Sloppy’s silence tell anyone anything?

Yes, Slop was beaten last night… again… And, the leader board has someone ahead of him headed into the final tourney day Saturday… With Slop running with the BFL, he will have to settle for a fate unknown, as the Jerkin’ Lips Final Season is close in positions 1-5…

    Standings headed into Saturday…
Reel Guy (Ryan Geister) 19.5 Leads with a small bag of 4.2…
Motley (Mike Malone) 17.3 Needs a 4.3# bag to cull out and capture 1st…
Slop Bass (Jeremiah Shaver) 16.7 Needs a 6.1# bag to cull out and capture 1st…
Frosty (Joe Frost) 15.7 Needs a 5.3# bag to cull out and capture 1st…
BC (Brian Christianson) 14.8 Needs a 6.2# bag to cull out and capture 1st…

His fate is actually not looking very good with that weight. It would only take me a 3lb bag to surpass him.

I think you’re pretty safe where you are, Reel Guy.

BC… you can EASILY take 2nd… Motley has a NOVICE partner on Saturday… Slop isn’t fishing… Big $$$ at stake… can you do it… do you FEEL the pressure…

So, do you feel “sorry” for our buddy Slop Bass?

    Nah, me neither!

    Good luck Saturday, Sloppy!

The door is open for me to take 2nd. Wingdam and Motley are both in my way. I think I’ll need at LEAST a 5lb bag to get in the top three. I wish I could’ve fished those two weeks that I missed…I’d be in the running for first with you!

The pressure is on, and I’ll be feeling it on Saturday. I need Hoover to have a good day!

Slop must be recovering from defeat… recovering from his abuse… recovering from… I know he’s out pre-fishing for tomorrow… he is jacked up about Saturday… Go Slop!

Anyway, just wanted to say it was nice to meet you and share a beer with you, d-nort. Always a pleasure to meet the guys from the IDA and chat. I hope you enjoyed the guys from from our club… Jerkin’ Lips.

DanWi – nice to see you again!

Looking forward to Sat tourney, and hoping I can get lucky and find some decent fish to give Reel Guy some nerves as I open the Cajun’s livewell Yes, I have a partner who hasn’t bass fished before, but he’s a great man and my brother in law, so we’ll have a big time no matter what! I’ve just gotta not choke and catch some fish to keep BC and Wingdam off my

Slop, best wishes for BFL, hope to see you at the weigh in with a huge smile peeking through those pork chops

Reel Guy…your COMMERCIAL account is now disabled so I would advise you to to me. haha

    Thanks for playing.

Anyways…back to fishing. The majority of fish I caught last night were on a pearl white fluke. I noticed it worked well to drop it on a pad and slowly pull it through the thick pads. They were even hitting it on top. We caught a dozen fish, but they were all shorts. Maybe I’ll find better luck tonight or this weekend…as long as I can stay away from those BFL guys.

Slop – I better not find you in my spots!
