Last night was an interesting night. HOT AND HUMID and we saw schools tons of fish breaking all night long. Not just jumping, but full schools of fish chasing bigger forage. It was fun to watch. Most were white bass, but i’m sure there were others mixed in. Fished some lilly’s for a while and bass were chasing bluegills all over. That’s where we caught ours. Others caught them on flipping banks and rocks. Here are a few pics.

    Here’s REELGUY and Partner

Look at my picture above, and just off to the right you can see the RE GU of REEL GUY’s boat. Just in case you see him on the water.

Tonight was the opener of our “3rd Season” in our Wednesday nighter. There were some solid fish brought in. I think the hot bait tonight was Cranks on Rocks..(ask Reelguy).

Here’s Reelguy w/the Winning Weight for tonight. Biggest fish for him was 3.1 (close, but no cigar)

    Krisko,

Our group consist mainly of guys from work that all share the same passion for fishing. We are a tight knit group 16 members(w/the exception of Reelguy JUST KIDDING) and we have a friendly competition. But most important at the end of the night, is that we learn from each other.

All it takes is finding a good group of guys that like to fish, and there ya go, you have your own club

Did you guys catch a lot of fish? There was a 5-fish tourney the night before and the winning weight was around 11lbs. That’s not much for this time of the year. I just wonder if that approaching front had something to do with the bite last night? Lately, 7 has been a tough place to scratch out a nice size bunch of fish.

My boat saw 37 fish + 2 HUGE Sheepy’s… Only 6 legals… If I were to have weighed a 5 fish limit it would have looked like: 3.1 + 2.5 + 2.1 + 2.0 + 1.6 = 11.4… so, yes, nothing real sizable… no kidding 31 fish between 6″ and 12″… Fun, but frustrating. Fishery should be solid in the next couple years on 7! For now, small fish.

Sure hope my math was right!

I would rather catch dinks all night then nothing at all. We struggled big time with the wind.

Launched from 7th St. Last night…Great night to be on the water. The wind had died down and we were ready to go. Reelguy continued his impressive Season 3 start w/these beauties…I’m sure Wingdam caught them though

The guy that catches the smallest fish, drinks the low end brew.

Slop, I see a pattern here. You keep picking on Reel Guy and he keeps handing you your in the Wed. night tournies.

    Anybody else see that pattern?

    Doesn’t even phase me….and like i said…WINGDAM carried REELGUY last night ….

I was at a major disadvantage last night anyway…even REELGUY would agree w/me there.

We’ll see who’s laughing last come week 8

Yeah, I can see where drinking Busch Lite is a major disadvantage.

Maybe you should hire Champman. He might be able to help you out. Although, I’m not sure even JJ can work miracles.

fyi, this is all in good fun. you can stop with the death pm’s.

Looks like the Busch adds during the classic coverage made somebody thirsty. Anglers sure are loyal to sponsors arent they?

You guys are too funny. We all know that the great B.C. will end up on top. Slop will have to settle for 5th…with Reel Guy following.
