Anybody else notice the trend every week here.
Mondays – this forum is hopping from all the excitement and adventures from the weekend
Tuesday – this forum is stone cold dead, everybody told too many fish stories on Monday, so they must have to cram two days of work in on Tuesday
Wednesday – starts to pick up around here, work must be getting caught up and the itch to go fishing getting slightly worse, so you have to talk about it a little to get the fix
Thursday – the itch is getting unbearable by now so there is a lot of talk on the boards
Friday – the lucky ones are already on the water , and the rest are on the boards getting ready for the weekend
Sat. and Sun. – usually dead because we are usually out fishing
Then back to Monday to start the cycle all over
    TOO FUNNY !!!

I’m considering changing my business model from attracting advertisers to keep the lights on to offering employers the ability to “black out” access to certain users so they actually get some work done.

It should be much more profitable for all involved… lol

That’s why we keep Slop tied closely to our IT systems… he keeps “the lines open” for those of us who enjoy this site on occassion during the work day… it brightens and breaks up our day!

Slop… keep up your “intelligence” for us!

True… so very true. Actually, now that you mention it, where’s my banners?… lol

Are you and the family going to make the trek to the Get Together next Saturday? Hope so. Grab Jc and head on up and plan to stay the night if at all possible. It will be a good time. Us walleye guys might even let one of you bass guys win the bass categories this year.

As I recall, a ‘Bass Guy’ won the Bass division last year. As for being there? I may have the family in tow. It’ll be a game-time decision.

Sounds a little unlikely but if you say it’s so we’ll take your word for it.

Actually if memory serves me at least one of the top couple bass weighed each year comes off the docks right at Everts. 2 years ago the guys caught quite a few 2 – 3 lb smallies and Jarrad’s son Austin lost a pig in front of many witnesses that would have easily hit 4 Lbs. We thought is was going to pull him in before it got around the dock posts and broke off.

But back to the point of the post… I hope to see lots of the bass guys there. It’s not a top dollar tournament with TV coverage for the winners but its one heck of a good time with a laid back attitude, some prizes for all and some darned good food. Everyone is welcome to attend. It’s a G-Rated family event until the sun goes down and then we tend to “socialize” a bit well into the night. And its a FREE events sponsored by IDA, lots of IDA sponsors and individuals that just want to see us throw a good party.

If you can’t be there all day show up at 3 PM for the weigh in, food and socializing.

Thanks Slop! But the keyword here is POND. Both of the big LM I’ve caught out of this pond have been 21 inches, one was 6.5lbs (6 weeks ago) , the other was 5.6lbs(last Friday night) . Could the same fish shed a pound after spawn? Or are these different fish? It’s a pretty small pond, maybe 3/4 acre.
