Wow… Blue/JC… forget being humble/modest for a post or two and share yoru success stories from the weekend. We need to hear the good stories (even if it is a bit bragging!)!

Ah, they’re big-time now. They don’t want to mess with us common folk .

    Thanks ,

There’s a good story from yesterday’s tourney. It will get told, but it’s a busy day here so maybe later.

Rest assured, the truth will be exposed!

Sorry guys, we just got lucky again. We put ourselves in an area that had some good fish and they bit. Nothing special.
Get to an area that can have good fish in it and fish hard all day and see how you do. Take your lumps or smile and enjoy your 15 minutes.

    Bassbaron,

We fished the BWS on Saturday and the MSBC on Sunday.

Saturday’s weight for 5 fish was 16.99. We had a badly hooked fish that died about 20min from weigh-in. So we took a 1lb deduction, but it was still enough for 1st place. We also had second big bass the weighed 4.3.

Sunday our 8 fish limit was 23.04. We were .49 lbs away from 1st place. I lost a real nice fish and it cost us 1st place.(sorry JC, Yes, I dreamt of that fish last night.) The guys that won need to give a huge thanks to the lock master at Genoa. The doors were 5ft from being totally closed and they re-opened them so they could make the weigh-in. We also had a 3.98 fish that was good enough for 2nd big bass.

It was a fun weekend, and the $$$ was not too bad either.
