#1… I am amazed how long the bass stayed deep in the shallow bays. I have believed for a long time that quickly falling water will drive the Bass out of the shallowest water certainly within 3 days. Wrong they have stayed in most locations right up until there was 0 water there. I guess it is because the flow stayed up until recently, and because there are tons of frey and crayfish in these locations… so apparently forage overrides the fear of being caught in the falling water.

#2 It is possible to catch 15+ fish in a five foot circle and nothing five feet in either direction?????? Even though I still don’t have a clue why.

#3 Bass love mayflies and so do I because I spent a half day pitching plastic into the swirls they made while sucking mayflies off the surface, and hooking up with an amazing percentage of them. More importantly the bass are showing themselves in places I have never caught them at and in some cases have never fished. Sure adds some new pieces to the puzzle.

#4 Everyday I see deeper into the Quote. “them fish is loose”….here today, disappear completely tommorrow,(or an hour later), and two days later right back where they started. A new pattern every week…heck more like a new pattern every hour. Makes me even more impressed with the guys and teams that turn in big bags almost every single tourney.
