Pool 8

Went to pool 8 this afternoon around 4:30-5. I only went to one area on the Black and found the fish to still be there, only today there were fewer but better ones . The came on a break that went anywhere from inches to 15+ feet of water. I got them on plastics and the oh so dangerous crankbait . As I was in such a hurry to get my trolling motor sent off I forgot the camera . The river was also full of them rotten no good pleasure boats towing skiers and tubers . Also the river is REALLY dropping. Last Saturday in this bay we were fishing in submerged timber and grass. Now the timber is mostly above water and the grass is all on dry ground. Hoefully next time I remember the camera and not take any pics of the background .

I was out for 9 hours and found most of the bass outside weedlines. Using plastics and spinners I was able to bring in over 20 bass.

Tubes on shorelines worked, but the hits were very intermittent.
